About
Ahhh! The joy of adolescence, a time when the whole world is spinning, rather slowly, but spinning nonetheless. When everything, from the way you talk to the way you view the world, is changing. A time when you are “becoming something.” The problem is that while you are busy becoming, you are something. Something so wonderful that very few “adults” understand it.
The VRCC Uth Ministry understands what you are dealing with. We have parents just like yours, we have friends just like yours, and we have so much in common with you, because we are you. We are teens (or some “adults” who refuse to be adult). The only difference is that we have a group of people to help us along this bumpy ride. We have a church that is loving, and supporting us. Plus, we have a group of peers, laughing and crying with us.
People often complain that church is boring. That there is nothing to grab their attention and keep them interested. Well, the VRCC Uth group would like to change all that. We have two goals, to be like Jesus and to enjoy becoming like Him. We try to have fun no matter what we are doing. Whether we are rappelling down the side of a mountain in Colorado, or painting houses in Small Town, Texas (not a real town, but you understand)
Our purpose is simple; to grow closer to God, so that we can help others with their struggles though fellowship, service and fun.
So, any time you are in the area and feel the need to connect, come and join us, you might just have a good time.
